Definition
- Wendat (also Huron-Wendat) is the Iroquoian language traditionally spoken by descendants of the Huron-Wendat Confederacy. It is considered a sister to the Wyandot language, spoken by the people known as Wyandot or Wyandotte, descended from the Tionontati.
