  • Woods Cree is a variety of the Cree macrolanguage. It is spoken in Northern Manitoba, Northern Saskatchewan and Northern Alberta, Canada. It is part of the Cree-Montagnais-Naskapi dialect continuum. Like other Cree-Montagnais-Naskapi varieties, Woods Cree is classified under the Algonquian branch of the Algic language family.
