Definition
- Aimaq or Aimaqi is the dominant eastern Persian ethnolect spoken by the Aimaq people in central northwest Afghanistan (west of the Hazarajat) and eastern Iran. Aimaq is a member of the Western Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family.
