Definition
- SKOS – Simple Knowledge Organization System – is a W3C recommendation designed for representation of thesauri, classification schemes, taxonomies, subject-heading systems or any other type of structured controlled vocabulary. XML – Extensible Markup Language – is a markup language that defines a set of rules for encoding documents in a format that is both human-readable and machine-readable.
