SGML DTD
Definition
- SGML – Standard Generalized Markup Language – is a standard for defining generalized markup languages for documents. DTD – document type definition – is a set of markup declarations that define a document type for an SGML-family markup language (SGML, XML, HTML). It defines the legal building blocks of an XML document, the document structure with a list of legal elements and attributes.
